About MVRK Black Label

MVRK was founded on the Gold Coast, Australia, in 2021 by Stacie Lee Davids, bringing together two worlds that had shaped her life: fashion and boxing.

After years working within the fashion and bridal industry, Stacie had developed an appreciation for craftsmanship, construction, fabric, detail and the difference between something that is simply made—and something that is made exceptionally well.

At the same time, she was a passionate fan of boxing. Watching the highest-level fighters in the world walk into the biggest arenas wearing incredible bespoke ring attire highlighted a gap much closer to home.

Australian fighters simply weren’t being offered the same level of choice, craftsmanship and individuality.

Stacie believed they deserved better.

From an idea to a craft

Rather than accepting what was available, Stacie set out to learn how to create it herself.

What followed was a process of teaching herself virtually every discipline required to take a piece of bespoke fightwear from an idea to the ring: graphic design, creative development, pattern making, garment construction, sewing, embroidery, appliqué, embellishment and finishing.

There was no shortcut.

MVRK was built through countless hours of learning, refining and perfecting the craft—developing techniques specifically for garments that not only need to look extraordinary under the lights, but also need to perform when a fighter steps through the ropes.

Today, that philosophy remains at the heart of MVRK Black Label.

From the first artwork and pattern to the embroidery, construction and final details, each garment receives the same level of personal attention and care that established MVRK from the beginning.

It means MVRK Black Label isn’t mass-produced fightwear with a fighter’s name added to it.

It is individually designed and individually made.
